Welcome to LÓA Language School's Placement Exam

It is important that students enrol in courses that are appropriate for their level of Icelandic. This is a fact on which LÓA Language School places great emphasis, and this is why we developed our Placement Exam.
Should I take the test?

Are you unsure about your level of Icelandic? If the answer is yes, then taking the test is a good move.

Whether you are currently studying Icelandic or have studied Icelandic in the past, you are welcome to take the test and see how you go!

Good to know

‍The test comprises written answers, fill in the blanks, multiple choice and reading comprehension.

It will take you roughly 30-45 minutes to complete, depending on your linguistic background. Take your time; there is no need to rush.

Shortly after you finish the exam you will receive an email from us with the results and information about your course level.

When you are ready to start, write your email in the box below and click Generate Test. A link to the test will then be sent to your inbox.

Ertu óviss um á hvaða stigi þú ert? Ef svarið er já er einmitt tilvalið fyrir þig að taka prófið!

Þér er velkomið að taka prófið og sjá hvernig það kemur út, hvort sem þú ert að læra íslensku núna eða hefur lært íslensku formlega eða óformlega!

‍Prófið samanstendur skriflegum svörum, eyðufyllingum, krossaspurningum og lesskilningi.

Það mun taka þig um það bil 30-45 mínútur að klára prófið, en tímalengdin fer líka eftir málfræðigrunni þínum. Taktu þér nægan tíma; það er engin ástæða til að flýta sér.

Skömmu eftir að þú ert búin(n) með prófið færðu póst frá okkur með niðurstöðunum og upplýsingum um íslenskustig þitt.

Þegar þú ert tilbúin(n) að byrja, skrifaðu þá netfangið þitt hér fyrir neðan og smelltu á Generate Test. Hlekkur á prófið verður þá sendur í pósthólfið þitt.
